Living India was born out of the urgent needs of a few children whose parents died of AIDS in rural Andhra Pradesh. These AIDS orphans are themselves infected with the HIV virus and are a tragic handful among the more than four million orphans that the AIDS pandemic in India has created.
Living India is a registered 501c3 non-profit in the United States. Its stated purpose is multi-faith/multicultural education for the prevention of HIV transmission and infection and the care and needs of AIDS orphans in rural India.
